An automated external defibrillator (AED) is a portable electronic device that automatically diagnoses the life-threatening cardiac arrhythmias of ventricular fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia in a patient, and is able to treat them through defibrillation, the application of electrical therapy which stops the arrhythmia, allowing the heart to reestablish an effective rhythm.

This truck holds 1600’ of 5” hose, which is the main supply line to the truck. Also 1000’ of 3” hose also used as a supply line. The truck has attack lines of 150’ of 1 ¾ and 200’ of 1 ¾ hose.

There is also a BlitzFire portable monitor
A Master Stream in Operation
attached to 150’ of 2 ½” hose. It carries 3 lengths of soft suction for drafting out of ponds, streams, or lakes. The truck has many types of saws used for gaining access or ventilation. Ladders carried on the truck are 35’ extension ladder, a 14’ roof ladder, and an 8’ closet ladder.​ There are 5 air packs with spare bottles carried in the cab.


Rescue 127 is on a Spartan chassis with a Super Vac rescue body .This truck contains all our extrication equipment for vehicle accidents. The truck also carries our cold weather and rope rescue equipment. It also carries various power and gas hand tools. The rescue also has 5 SCBA’s located in the cab , 5 spare bottles,and a six-bottle cascade system for filling bottles at a structure fire. The rescue is utilized in a rehab or a mass causality emergency. It also carries many different types of HAZMAT supplies on it. The rescue carries medical equipment including a defib.

Tanker 127 is used as a second attack piece and also hauls water to the individual emergencies.
The tanker carries 1000’ of 5” supply line, 550’ of 3” hose for supply line, 2- 200’ of 1 ¾” hose lines to be used as attack lines. Also on the tanker is a 200’ of 2 ½” hose line with a blitz fire gun. 20- 5 gallon pails of class A foam. The tanker has 4-SCBA and 4 spare bottles. A 3000-gallon drop tank is carried on the truck. The tanker carries a 24’ extension ladder and 2 roof ladders.

Service 127 is used for transportation to a first responder call or mutual aid to our surrounding towns. It is used to pull our two enclosed trailers and our marine unit. It also transports personnel to firehouse meetings or classes. The service truck has medical equipment including a defib. The service truck is used to plow the firehouse parking lot and all our dry hydrant locations throughout town after each snow storm.

Forestry 127 is used primarily as a brush truck. It can also be used to pull one of the trailers. The forestry carries chainsaws, fire rakes, brooms and Indian tanks as well as portable pumps. The forestry also has medical equipment including a defib. ​
The hose on the forestry is a booster reel and 150’ of 1 ¾” of fire hose.
